EPAL announces international anniversary photo contest

More than 600 million EPAL Euro pallets are in use worldwide: on lorries, in supermarkets or in warehouses. But they are also used to make furniture, to decorate shops, as fittings in cafés and clubs, or as stages at open-air festivals. EPAL Euro pallets are in plain sight everywhere and are part of an international sharing economy. EPAL is celebrating 30 years of EPAL and 60 years of the Euro pallet this year and is marking the end of this double anniversary with an international photo contest.

Düsseldorf, 24 November 2021 – The European Pallet Association e.V. (EPAL) is marking the end of a year of anniversaries by celebrating the EPAL Euro pallet with an international photo contest.

SNAP THE PALLET

Using the slogan SNAP THE PALLET, EPAL is inviting its community to share the most beautiful, the most outstanding and the most unusual photos of EPAL Euro pallets on the SNAP THE PALLET website. All photos submitted will be displayed in an online gallery on the website. The photos will also be published on Instagram under SnapThePallet.

The winner: the sharing economy

The EPAL Euro pallet pool is the sharing economy prototype. Everyone taking part in this international pallet exchange pool is a winner, as is the environment. Everyone can share their EPAL Euro pallet photos with EPAL and be in with a chance of winning with SNAP THE PALLET. Every month, EPAL is offering prizes of €1,000 for the best photo and five runner-up prizes of €100. The overall winner will receive €3,000 at the end of the contest. The photo contest starts on 1 December 2021 and finishes at the end of February 2022.
